HypnoAsana® Restorative Yoga Class

These classes are the very basis of the HypnoAsana® concept, combining restorative yoga with hypnosis techniques to provide a completely safe and highly effective yoga experience. Restorative yoga focuses on rest, relaxation, and healing and as such avoid extreme and strenuous poses. Instead, props are used to support you as you perform classic yoga poses. Your muscles will be taxed as they attempt to hold a pose, they relax – and so do you. You can then turn all your attention inward, focusing on your breath and other physical sensations and entering a meditative state.

HypnoAsana® Restorative Yoga elevates the experience by adding Isochronic Tones and positive suggestions. These actions promote an even deeper meditation experience.

While the positive physical effects of this class are considerable, it is the mental and emotional advantages that most stand out. Those suffering from sickness, stress, depression or simply a lack of energy find it to be an incredibly rejuvenating experience. It’s also excellent for those with injuries, arthritis or other conditions that make strenuous yoga poses impossible.

At the same time, HypnoAsana® Restorative Yoga can actually address certain limitations. For instance, the absolute relaxation and partial support allow you to stay in poses far longer – as much as 10 minutes per side. This means it can actually assist those whose range of motion is limited to become more flexible.

Whether you work in a physically demanding job or are trapped at a desk five days a week, chances are you can feel the unwanted results along with your spine in your back and neck. While any debilitating conditions should be investigated by the healthcare practitioner of your choice, this class has been designed to provide relief from general back and neck stiffness and/or pain.

Again utilizing the power of restorative yoga and Isochronic Tones, this class emphasizes chronic and acute stiffness and/or pain that is not the result of traumatic injury and the correction of poor posture. Through the expertise of your instructor combined with your increased relaxation and flexibility afforded by HypnoAsana®, you’ll be able to see the following benefits:

Many of our clients prefer to practice their chosen HypnoAsana® modality in a private, one-on-one setting. This allows you to progress at the pace that is most comfortable to you, slowing down and speeding up as you desire. To others, the intimate setting of private classes allows them to reap the greatest benefits as their physical and meditative responses are far better without the presence of others.

HypnoAsana® Restorative Yoga Workshop

In this workshop, you will experience the deep relaxing effects of hypnosis for a healing trance which will allow you shift into theta brainwave (a very relaxed state) during your restorative yoga practice induced by Isochronic tones. Theta brain waves will grant you access to deepen your postures and relaxation. While you are relaxing, you will hear positive suggestions recorded in the background which will keep your mind relaxed and inner focused. By the end of your HypnoAsana® session, the Isochronic tones will start raising your brain waves to waking state and you will feel a definite relaxed and awakened state of mind, along with a calm and steady energy in your body.

This workshop follows a simple but effective structure:

  • A short lecture about HypnoAsana® – a quick explanation and demystification of hypnosis, where stereotypes are addressed and corrected (15 minutes)
  • Restorative Yoga paired with Isochronic tones and hypnotic language (60 minutes)
  • Pranayama Meditation – this powerful meditative practice focuses on breath control through certain techniques and exercises (15 minutes)

Regulate your energy, release fascia (fibrous tissue) throughout your entire body, and create a safe space within yourself to meditate. Find relaxation – body, mind, and spirit through ancient breathing techniques, passive stretching, hypnotic language, and isochronic tones. HypnoAsana® presents a Yin Yoga Workshop. This workshop is a unique blend of Yin Yoga and hypnosis. Yin yoga is a more passive approach to stretching the body, with a strong focus on relaxing into the posture, holding the posture for longer periods of time, and using this time as a meditative practice. Hypnosis will allow you shift into theta brainwave (a very relaxed state) during your yin practice. Theta brain waves will grant you access to you deepen your postures and relaxation.
